the short version: tomo doesn't collect, store, or share any of your data. everything stays on your device. that's it.

what data tomo stores

tomo stores the following data locally on your device:

all of this data is stored in a local database on your device. it never leaves your phone.

what tomo does not do

crash reporting

tomo may use sentry for anonymous crash reporting. this only sends technical information about app crashes (device type, OS version, stack traces) to help us fix bugs. no personal data, journal entries, mood data, or any user content is ever included in crash reports.

crash reporting can be disabled by the user. no personally identifiable information is collected through crash reports.

data deletion

you can delete all your data at any time from within the app: go to you → settings → privacy → delete all data. this permanently removes everything. since we don't have your data on any server, deletion is instant and complete.

children's privacy

tomo is intended for users aged 3 and older. for children under 13, a parent or guardian should set up and supervise use of the app. since all data stays on-device and no data is transmitted, there is no data collection to speak of.

changes to this policy

if we update this privacy policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. since tomo doesn't collect data, changes would likely only reflect new features or clarifications.
