1. what tomo is
tomo is a personal wellness app that helps you track your mood, build habits, journal, and practice calming exercises. tomo is designed to be a supportive companion for your everyday wellbeing.
2. what tomo is not
tomo is not a medical device, therapy tool, or substitute for professional mental health care. tomo does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
if you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a mental health professional, call your local emergency services, or reach out to a crisis helpline. tomo includes crisis resources within the app, but these are informational links, not a service provided by tomo.
3. your data
all data you create in tomo (mood entries, journal entries, habits, etc.) is stored locally on your device. we do not have access to your data. we cannot recover your data if you uninstall the app or lose your device.
you are responsible for your own data. we recommend periodic backups if your device supports them.
4. use of the app
you may use tomo for personal, non-commercial purposes. you agree not to:
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- redistribute, sell, or sublicense the app
- use the app for any unlawful purpose
- attempt to access systems or data not intended for you
5. intellectual property
tomo, including its design, artwork, animations, code, and the tomo character, is the intellectual property of bona systems. all rights reserved.
the content you create within the app (journal entries, mood logs, etc.) belongs to you.
6. availability and updates
we aim to keep tomo available and functional, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. we may update the app from time to time to fix bugs, add features, or improve performance. major changes will be communicated through app updates.
7. limitation of liability
tomo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. to the maximum extent permitted by law, bona systems shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
in particular, we are not responsible for any decisions you make based on information presented by the app, including mood insights, pattern analysis, or any suggested activities.
8. age requirements
tomo is intended for users aged 3 and older. children under 13 should use the app under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
9. changes to these terms
we may update these terms from time to time. the updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. continued use of tomo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. governing law
these terms are governed by the laws of england and wales. any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of england and wales.
